Say Hello!
Soak in the summertime vibes at this intimate Southern California wedding in the vineyards of Ponte Winery.
People always told me not to photograph friends, but they obviously don’t know my friends. Avery and I have known each other for over ten years and having the honor to document her Ponte Winery Wedding at Ponte Vineyard Inn is something I’ll always hold dear. When you grow up with someone it’s even more special to see them come into their new life together with the person they love.
Avery and Addison met in Tallahassee, Florida while Addison was coaching at Florida State University. Falling fast and hard, they didn’t know Addison’s career would eventually take them out of that tiny town and across the country to sunny California. Through trust, lots of football games and beach trips they’ve enjoyed SoCal together ever since.
Being able to invite their closest friends and family to experience their new home made their wedding that much more exciting. Avery and Addison celebrated with festivities spanning over the week of Fourth of July with poolside welcome parties, wine tastings and a mountaintop AirBnb that rivaled MTV Cribs.
Oh and if you want to see all the best cooking, just follow these guys on Instagram. One day they’ll be on Food Network. You’re welcome.
The weather in Southern California is incredible. You don’t have to worry about it raining on your wedding day or being humid because it’s just perfect all the time. Combining the mountain landscape and a golden pink sun creates a rad scene in Temecula for a Ponte Winery Wedding.
The details at Ponte Vineyard Inn make you feel like you’re at a Tuscan wedding in Italy. As an elopement photographer, when I get the chance to do intimate weddings, I love when the venue transports you somewhere incredible. Sometimes you don’t have to go far to feel like you’re having a destination wedding, especially in places like Southern California.
Avery and Addison had an intimate outdoor ceremony in this Tuscan inspired courtyard for their Ponte Winery Wedding. To go with their non-traditional celebrations and keep the summer vibes going, they shared a shot together! Way better than lighting a candle or something, just saying!
I had such an awesome time photographing this Ponte Wintery Wedding in Temecula, California. Take some notes from Avery and Addison and do things your way! Just because you are having a bigger wedding, doesn’t mean it can’t have adventurous non-traditional vibes. Want shots and Krispy Kreme? Do it! Treat your guests to a wedding weekend in the hills of Southern California and have a freaking blast.
