Settling on an adventure session for their engagement photos, Elissa and Brent hiked to Preacher’s Rock in North Georgia for sunset skies filled with the blues and greens of the Appalachians.
You don’t have to go all the way to North Carolina to get epic views and mountain vibes. Located on the AT at Woody Gap, this short hike is definitely rewarding for a North Georgia engagement session. If you’re lucky, you’ll have the outcropping all to yourself like these two did! Try a weekday for the best chance of having the summit to yourself.
Elissa and Brent are such fun people to hang out with. When you meet them, you feel like you’ve known them for years. They’re so approachable and made hiking a blast. These guys are goofy like me so we may or may not have spent the evening talking to each other in funny accents and making faces for photos. There wasn’t a dull moment during their adventure session.
I love the way Elissa’s yellow dress pops off the blues and greens of the mountains. One of my favorite things about North Georgia is that this area looks totally different depending on what time of year you visit. The Summer brings the blues and greens while Fall brings all the reds and oranges. This is something to consider when planning your North Georgia engagement.
